simply sheer

Photography by: Sarah Miller
Arden B skirt, sold out but similar version and on major sale, and another option | Express cami, another option also on sale | Cole Haan purse | Brighton hinged cuff and  long necklace | Steve Madden sandals

It's no big surprise that this simple, pleated, sheer skirt sold out. Not to rub salt in the wound, but not only is it fantastic and unavailable, it was pretty inexpensive if I remember correctly. The good news is that many different versions can be found easily at Express, Forever 21, Bloomingdale's and Dress Up Boutique to name a few. Happy hunting!

J Crew factory pajama top pajama bottom (on sale now) | Converse | Louis Vuitton purse | MAC "Lickable" lipstick

Off to the register with this adorable outfit in hand that was cleverly displayed among all the rest of the clothing, not sleepwear, only to find out that it is indeed pajamas. Rethinking this purchase I convinced myself that I could pull off wearing this pj inspired look outside of the house, and that is exactly what we have here. Now, I don't recommend trying to pull off this look at your next interview, but for a coffee run it's fun, adorable, and effortless. You might even turn a few heads...

on repeat

Photography by: Sarah Miller
Skirt | Necklace | J Crew shirt (on sale) | Emi Jay hair tie | LAMB heels

It's baaaack...my favorite full, black skirt. I just can't get enough of this wardrobe staple. It goes with everything and it's fun to twirl in! These LAMB heels are great too, they remind me of a tuxedo and are shockingly comfortable. The platform actually makes them easier to walk in than my other heels.

boho beach

Photography by: Sarah Miller
Billabong pants, another option | Gap tee | Julie Vos coin bracelet another version | Sandals (old but similar) and love these | Headband similar | Mac "Lickable" lipstick

I spotted these boho beach pants in a surfshop while vacationing in Florida and I knew they had to be mine! Rating the comfort level on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being the highest), I give these beachy wonders an 11 based on the smocked elastic waist and the roomy, wide leg. As an added bonus they are super long in length... well... at least they started out that way. Never, ever put these pants in the dryer. Not even when you are short for time and need them dry asap. They. Will. Shrink.

blue olive

Photography by: Sarah Miller
J Crew t-shirt | Converse, last seen here | CWonder monogrammed clutch | BaubleBar necklace | Pants

Loving the effortlessly chic vibe with this blue/olive color combo. So what if it took me an hour to get this "effortless" look, it's the end result that matters, right? I hope everyone had a fun holiday weekend, I still feel like I'm rocking on a boat. Happy Monday! XO~Ireland

red, white, & paisley

Photography by: Sarah Miller
ASOS dress | Flu's Ear hat | Sandals (old, but love these patriotic soles)

Just in time for the fourth of July in this patriotic paisley dress! Stupidly, I didn't get a shot of the back of this dress which laces up and adds a little bit of naughty to this otherwise nice dress. I will most definitely restyle, rewear & reshoot. Perfect for a BBQ, fireworks, and can double as a cover up at the pool. Super cute & I'm super obsessed with this dress. Thank you ASOS.

LBD: little backless dress

Photography by: Sarah Miller
Sam Edelman sandals on sale, also love these and these | Essie nail polish "Honey Bun" | Franchi Collection clutch, old but another leopard version, also love | Dress, old but other options here and here, both on sale

Let me work from the bottom up...I love these sandals for two reasons: (1) They mix beads and leopard without looking like I'm a retiree rushing to catch the early bird special in Boca Raton (no offence to said retirees). (2) You won't have to carry band aids, these sandals meet my comfort standard in a big way. If you're wondering why the linked sandals have three straps instead of two there is a perfectly good, yet embarrassing, explanation. Each strap has a small, individual buckle that is time consuming and slightly frustrating to maneuver. In a lazy, yet creative moment I had a stroke of genius, and cut the top strap of the sandal off, efficiently saving time. Isn't that so smart? Then my friend that was watching this whole mess quietly pointed out the ZIPPER that runs along the back of the sandal, eliminating the need to use the small, annoying buckles. Not one of my prouder moments. Now for the LBD: Little Backless Dress...Is it a shirt? Is it a dress? Who knows, but cute, little peace signs adorn the front and turn around because there's a party in the back. I love unexpected things!
